The winds were roaring through the trees
and the thunder lightning was crashing
outside my window.

My first instinct was
to jump out of bed
and turn the lights on.

I rushed across the room
and flipped the switch.

Nothing happened!

I headed back to my bed
to hide under the covers,
when I tripped and fell over something.

Something that hadn't been there before.

I was immediately covered with
a thick, slimy goo!
It smelled horrible.
And I couldn't see anything.

The lightning became even more intense
as the wind and rain crashed at my window.

I fumbled around in the dark
trying to get out of the huge puddle
that had formed in my room.

The slime was starting to burning my skin.
I had to get to the bathroom,
to wash it off of me.

I managed to stand,
and edged my way towards the wall.

My feet were entirely submerged
in the horrible mass.

I found my trusty flashlight on the dresser.
The batteries were weak,
but just bright enough
to give me an idea of what
had envaded my house.
I turned around to see if
the blackened ooze was behind me.

It was gone. No sign of it.

I opened the door to the hallway,
and to my horror,
it was completely filled,
with the pulsating mass.

As the lightning danced down the hall,
I moved closer to the bathroom.

I realized I was not alone when
red piercing eyes jumped out at me
from the darkness of the hallway.

They speed past me,
knocking me down.

I landed in a mass grave
full of other rotting bodies.
The decaying corpses came to life
and grabbed me.

They carry me
deeper into the darkness
They believe I'm dead.
I'm not dead.

"SOMEONE HELP ME!"

My parents,
where are they?

"HELP ME!"

"PLEASE, SOMEONE HELP ME!!!"

It's all over.
I'm being burried.
I'm alive....No I must be dead.

The grave is cold.
I'm freezing.
I can no longer see the lightning flashing
or feel the wind against my face.
I'm afraid I'm dead.

I hear something.
Faintly, over top of me.
Is that sometone digging?
That "clunk" sounds like a shovel.

My grave is opened.
Something slimy is picking me up,
and tosses me up to another slimy thing.

What are they going to do with me?
Am I a sacrifice?
Where are they taking me?
I'm so scared!

I awake in my room.
Safe, in my bed.

But I am covered with mud!
At the foot of my bed
is a dark slime covered cloth,
big enough to cover a body.

IT WASN'T A DREAM!

It really happened.
I could have been...!!!

Was I taken by mistake?

I wonder if my family is all right.

"NO...No..."

There it goes again,
the howling wind and the lightning.

The night is not over yet....
